Addams Family tickets will be in pretty high demand, and some are predicting the production to out-sell many of the bigger Broadway shows during its run. If you need The Addams Family tickets, you should make sure you’re all set, and then you can simply relax and enjoy the thrills when Gomez and his wacky flock take the stage.

Charles Adams, the man who breathed life into the family he named after himself, was a prolific cartoonist, a man driven by visions both macabre and comical. Adams must have been proud that a menagerie of his creations spurred a career six decades long. Thousands of his cartoons and drawings (many published in The New Yorker) featured quirky but demonic characters that were collectively named The Addams Family. This group of odd souls delivered Addams – or Adams – to the world. His twisted but enchanted little group had easy to remember names, appearances and personalties, and this was a surefire recipe for TV success. Adams lived to see his creepy creation become one of the most famous comedy shows on the planet, and now of course, they are selling Addams Family Broadway tickets.

Charles Adams died in 1988 of a heart attack in New York City. He left a legacy that spanned decades and cheered up several generations.

Addmas initially planned a book with the noted science-fiction writer Ray Bradbury, but decided to go it alone. Bradbury, for his part ended up writing a story about the “Elliott Family”, which was published with an Addams trademark illustrated cover. The Elliots and the Addamses were destined to take separate paths and we’ll never know how it would really have worked out should those two creative heavyweights have collaborated.

Either way, The Addams Family are an immortal part of American folklore, and now the Addams Family Musical is about to join the growing assortment of literature, TV and film testaments to the brilliance of the story, in all its chain-rattling glory! Have fun with your Addams Family tickets and remember the rich legacy a great cartoonist left behind.
