Uncle Fester Honored on Sardi’s Wall!

If you are still hoping to score some cheap Addams Family tickets then you’d better hurry, as the pace quickens once again. Last month the lovable Uncle Fester, in the form of actor Kevin Chamberlain, received a high honor in theatrical and entertainment circles; he was immortalized by being featured on the wall of the renowned Sardi’s restaurant in New York City. The drawing of the much adored Chamberlain appears above, and as any NYC theater person know, having your caricature on the wall of Sardi’s is high praise indeed. The demand for Addams Family musical tickets clearly reflects the degree to which this show has enraptured the Big Apple, so it was only fitting that someone from the show earn a spot on the wall of fun. Other main cast members were in attendance, including stars Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth, to witness the historic moment when Uncle Fester joined other famous portraits on the restaurant wall. Among the celebs portrayed there are Hank Azaria, Kevin Bacon, Lucille Ball and Shirley MacLaine. If that doesn’t inspire you to go out and buy Addams Family tickets, then nothing will!

As the Addams Family tickets everyone wants sell fast and the show opens on Broadway, we are seeing some great reviews. The Addams Family musical company couldn’t be better, and their individual gifts are greater than the sum of the parts. This makes for an awesome show full of the kind of spooky twists we have come to expect from this famous story. The Chicago tryout proved a massive success, and now the cast has been moved to Broadway it is shining bighter than ever. Broadway is set to become a commercial classic due to its huge popular appeal and a perfect Hollywood figurehead in Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth. The Addams Family in Chicago was good, but the Broadway production is much better. The production has been given a few shine ups here and there, and those in the know say that it is a great improvement.

The chief focus of the story is daughter Wednesday, who falls in love with a boy from a non-eerie family, and inevitably brings him home to meet her folks. As you can imagine, this runs like The Birdcage meets Frankenstein and big laughs are guaranteed. When Wednesday’s boyfriend’s family come to dinner at the Addams mansion calamity ensues, and a winning soundtrack brings things to life with gusto.

It’s never too early to buy your Addams Family New York tickets. The Addams Family Broadway is a completely new twist on the age-old saga; to their horror, Morticia and Gomez are forced to be parents to daughter Wednesday when she hits that certain age and decides that being nice is the way to be. Word is, the renowned tale of Addams daughter Wednesday’s coming of age is sending them scurrying to find cheap Addams Family New York tickets like giant centipedes in a rotting dungeon! Nah, only joking; they’re actually flying like bats from a belfry in an Addams Family musical tickets stampede, all posessed by the same idea: The Addams Family musical is set to be so amazingly popular that, though the run on Broadway doesn’t begin until spring 2010, all Addams Family Broadway tickets will be gone by then. Everyone is curious to see what Fester will look like. To learn how Pugsley copes with his sister’s sudden need to be kind and caring (huh?!). No doubt Gomez (Nathan Lane) will hide his head behind the haze from a fine Cuban cigar and hope that nature – horrible, horrible nature – will take its course. Will “Thing”, the macabre hand that emerges periodically from a box to play chess with Gomez, or help out with the cleaning, be able to offer any constructive guidance to the young Wednesday? We hope so, for Wednesday’s descent into the world of dating, and caring, and being a “normal” young girl has sent the Addams Family into uproar! This is the play that is set to replace The Little Mermaid at the Lunt-fontanne Theater – itself a blockbuster production – so imagine the high hopes its producers must have for the Addams Family musical. Tickets are gonna fly, folks. Whether you call it The Adams Family Broadway, the Addams Family New York, or some combination of the two, this never-before-seen Addams Family plot is set to make you laugh your head off – very appropriate in the circumstances.!
