Last month the lovable Uncle Fester, in the form of actor Kevin Chamberlain, received a high honor in theatrical and entertainment circles; he was immortalized by being featured on the wall of the renowned Sardi’s restaurant in New York City. The drawing of the much adored Chamberlain appears above, and as any NYC theater person know, having your caricature on the wall of Sardi’s is high praise indeed. The demand for Addams Family musical tickets clearly reflects the degree to which this show has enraptured the Big Apple, so it was only fitting that someone from the show earn a spot on the wall of fun. Other main cast members were in attendance, including stars Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth, to witness the historic moment when Uncle Fester joined other famous portraits on the restaurant wall.
